My Not Annoying Christmas Playlist

Ahhh Christmas music, a bone of contention for most families. Don't get me wrong I do love the classic (and cheesy) Christmas tunes as much as the next gal but by the time the big day itself rolls around I'm usually a bit fed up of hearing the same old songs over and over again.

It's always so tricky picking festive music that everyone will love. Grandma wants the crooners, your brother thinks everything is corny and your mum only wants to listen to Christmas carols. The thing is, you just HAVE to have music playing while you drink your bucks fizz and open the gifts.

As Simon and I are having our first ever Christmas together - it seems only right, now that we're married and all - I wanted to create a lovely festive playlist for us that's full of non-irritating and actually good music that we can have playing all day. We love jazz, and I love soul, blues and all the classics from the 1930's, 40's and 50's, I've also sneaked a few nostalgic tunes in there too (hello Charlie Brown Christmas Special soundtrack!). I honestly think that everyone would enjoy having this playlist on in the background, it's that non-irritating and lovely.

Enjoy!
