I recently discovered the work of UK based illustrator Jill Calder and instantly wanted to share. Jill's work has quite a strong 1970's aesthetic and great use of texture a la Eric Carle which is something I can most definitely get behind. Plus the addition of shocking pink and dashing men carrying wellingtons is never a bad thing. See Jill's impressive portfolio of typography and illustrations here.
