My boyfriend gave me the retrospective Collier Campbell book for Valentines Day, an equally romantic and practical gift that I will treasure as an invaluable tool for my own textile work. The book is an inspiring collection of works and a must read for anyone with an interest in pattern design. Also, the silk bound cover alone is worth buying the book for. I am tempted to remove the plastic sleeve with the title printed on so I can display the book in all its patterned glory.
